Club special training session with Ohta Yoshinobu 7th Dan, Chief Instructor of The Japan Karate Association in England

We have karate lessons 4 days per week in Greater London: Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday and all of our dojos (training halls) are within a short walking distance of the Tube. Classes run throughout school holidays.

All you need for your first karate class is comfortable clothing which allows free-movement, and the £9 lesson fee.

Saturdays 4-5pm
Studio 1, 1st Floor, Swiss Cottage Leisure Centre, Adelaide Road, London, NW3 3NF

Swiss Cottage Leisure Centre is located just above Swiss Cottage station. Take exit 1 and turn left. The centre is on the left hand side, beside the library. Tell the reception staff at the main desk that you are there for karate in Studio 1, upstairs. Walk through the gates, up the stairs and around to the left – we’re in the first studio on the right-hand side.

Parking is available on the surrounding roads, with residents’ parking and yellow line restrictions lifted after 1.30pm on Saturdays. Just check the signs.

Sundays 10-11am
Access only via: Dalkeith Grove, Stanmore, HA7 4SQ.

North London Collegiate School is a 10-minute walk from Stanmore Station. Turn left out of the station and take the first road on the left, Merrion Avenue. Walk down to the end, turn left onto Dalkeith Road and the school entrance is just over the humpback bridge on the right-hand side. Staff at the sports centre reception will direct you to our studio or look out for people wearing white karate suits.

Free parking available on-site.

Please bring trainers along to this session.

Tuesdays 6.30-7.30pm
The Venue, 2nd Floor, O2 Centre,
255 Finchley Road, London, NW3 6LU

The O2 Centre is a 1-minute walk from Finchley Road Underground station. Turn left out of the station, then left again into the O2 Centre. When you reach the second floor, take the corridor alongside Byron restaurant, turn left at the end and you will find The Venue ahead.

Parking is available in the O2 Centre car park. If you spend £10 or more in Sainsbury’s and have them validate your parking ticket, this entitles you to 2 hours free parking as long as you exit within this period. Or if you stay to eat, get your parking ticket validated at the restaurant. There is also some metered parking available on surrounding residential roads.

Wednesdays 7-8pm
